Where Passion Meets Places, and Everyone Belongs
At Places Collective, we don’t just run hotels — we craft experiences where every guest feels truly at home. We are three hospitality rebels who saw something special in three overlooked properties and transformed them into havens of warmth, connection, and well-being.
Our story begins with Fritha, Myke, and Rachel — three women who met at a mid-sized hotel chain but dreamed bigger. They didn’t just want to work in hotels; they wanted to redefine hospitality. When the chance came to take over the management of these properties, they seized it, pouring their hearts into places that deserved a second chance.

The Visionaries Behind the Journey

Fritha didn’t have to travel far to find her destiny—just 40 minutes from her home in Kettering lay Minstrel Court, a breathtaking six-acre wedding venue near Cambridge. With her keen eye for romance and grandeur, she’s turning it into the kind of place where love stories get their next chapter...
Myke found her heart calling her back to her Scottish roots when she discovered The Stromness Hotel. With its rugged coastal charm and rich Orkney history. Now, she’s redefining Scottish hospitality with warmth, a welcoming team, and unforgettable local flavours.

Rachel fell for Northop Hall, a retreat nestled in the untamed beauty of North Wales. Here, the mountains and lakes whisper adventure, and Rachel ensures every guest leaves feeling refreshed—mind, body, and soul.
A Different Kind of Stay
We do things a little differently. None of our hotels serve alcohol—not because we don’t enjoy it, but because we believe in inclusivity, well-being, and choice.

We want every guest to feel completely welcome.

We refuse to profit from alcohol, focusing instead on crafting spaces where connection happens naturally.

But if you’d like a drink? No problem. You’re welcome to bring your own and enjoy it responsibly.
This is about freedom without pressure, about creating stays where you can truly unwind — your way.
We didn’t just save these places—we reimagined them. Now, we invite you to experience hospitality that puts people first.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. Leave feeling renewed.
